Coach Clara D’Autilia

Miss Clara began dancing at age three. At nine, she was accepted to the Centro Polivalente de Arte in Argentina where she studied for five years. Returning to US at age 14, she continued her dance studies at Long Beach Ballet. She has studied with Maestro Ruben Chayan, Dudley Davies, David Wilcox, Terry Lewis, Olga Ferri, Sherri King, Marilyn Monaco, Charles Kelly, Linda Gonzalez, Steve Sirico, and others. She has danced nationally and internationally performing soloist and principal roles in, among others, Cinderella, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, as well as several ballets created for her by renowned choreographers. Miss Clara began teaching in 1990, in 2004; she became owner and Director of Pacific Dance Center, and in 2005, co-founded Coast City Ballet; a non profit dance organization.  The newest addition to her curriculum vitae was in 2007 when she became Dance Team Coach for Edison HS.in Surf City, USA. A prolific choreographer and recipient of numerous awards, Miss Clara's repertoire is comprised of more than 150 works; her choreographies have been presented by prestigious dance companies locally and abroad. Dancing is a vital part of Miss Clara's life. Teaching, developing new choreographies, and sharing her love for dance with her students are her passions.
